What I Think Is Holding the Wii U Gamepad Back. The Wii U Gamepad is a amazing controller, but I think one thing is holding back the full potential of it, the Wii Remote. I believe they are doing it with stuff like Mario Party 10. Some games it is OK like Smash Bros and Mario Kart 8, because they are classic games with a set control type.
